Director
of North American Domestic Interchange
Marc DiNapoli joined SynchroNet in 2003 and has directed the development of
‘domestic’ (North American) interchange from infancy through 300% growth and
ranking as a primary service segment for SynchroNet Marine. SynchroNet
significantly enhanced domestic interchange capabilities for intermodal
marketing companies (IMC) and ocean carrier customers, with the introduction of
a web based user interface in April 2007 – which systematically automates the
approval process for “street-turn” opportunities -- improving utilization and
reducing motor carriers’ empty mileage. The company continues to innovate,
expand and enhance the service. Prior to joining SynchroNet, Mr. DiNapoli
was the VP Logistics for CMA CGM, America and spent 15 years with Inchcape
Shipping Services, where his successful management of service and productivity
improvement initiatives for underperforming segments and involvement in venture
start-ups resulted in increased accountabilities, and ultimately the role of
Inchcape’s Sr. VP of Logistic Services. Marc Dinapoli is a graduate from Texas
A&M University, earned a B.S. degree in Marine Transportation and U.S.
Coast Guard license Third Mate, unlimited tonnage. He began his career with
